Ok guys, just got Maschine and I fucking love it. I never had so much fun producing. Now I'm actually doing music instead of reading in forums the whole time

If you're impressed by that, you should check what a pianist can do...2be wrote:AWESOME!starving student wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WUIMy2m ... re=related

I'm sorry but you give an MPC to a pianist and he will do what they do after few hours...
when you play a classical piece on your piano, I don't think you have time to scratch your nose or do some c00l gangsta sign with your left hand.
I'm not hating, I like the end result of what they do but that makes me remember when I used to play this same riff on guitar over and over again to impress girls.
When you know about it (and we DO know because we are musician), it's so simple, it's almost retarded. It's like when I see a DJ in the club "moving" EQs rotators by a millimetre with large movement and snapping his fingers at the end.
But I do like the concept of 2 MPCS playing together.
Sorry if I'm ranting

I understand what you're saying, though you're still hating a bit
, and I agree to a degree but it's hard to really tell sometimes, like I know allot of classical pianist friends of my girlfriend. she's a classical pianist of 22 years and they are so talented until you ask them to write a simple 4 bar phrase, they freeze
up like you asked them to write a novel or something. of course all of them are not like this but I think there are more mpc players who also play piano than pianist who also play an mpc. kind of like the best
english teachers can't rap for shit.......it's definitely something that's hard to quantify.
forgot to say but put a sheet of music in front of the pianist and there all bionic

No, I'm more into Deep/Tech/Minimal House.timothyallan wrote:do you make hiphop?
To produce Hip Hop, I've been lacking the right samples and so forth. With Maschine, I have all the tools I need for that. Worth a try maybe
Not really having learned and mastered an instrument, I'm impressed by every awesome perfomance. The Carpet Cleaner wrote:If you're impressed by that, you should check what a pianist can do...

really ?.....
which 'best rapper' do you know of that can't speak english for shit?
I ask because the majority of the time when I see statements like that
it's the simple case of someone confusing a rappers ability to speak more than english
with their own capacity limit of what that person can understand.
anyway here are a few best rappers is it any of them?
is it this one
