Recommend a non Apple Monitor for Macbook Pro

I bought a mac vga adaptor for $49, I can now use any monitor. The price is a bit steep I know, but I can't wait for the 'made in China' to come out.

IPS screen are best of course but for Ableton any screen will do. It`s not graphic design, you dont need the color accuracy.

I use a 30inch Dell though, got it for 800$ 3 years ago. Best deal ever. Best quality too as Dell 30inch dont have the light spill Apple 30inch suffer.

I dont care about Dell computers but their monitors are great, especially the UltraSharp series.

The new 27inch is only 600$ here in Japan. This is an incredible deal.

Not sure if mine was faulty or they're all shite, but my Apple monitor to DVI adapter broke after two weeks. I'm replacing it with a generic one which is half the price on amazon.

+1 with the 24" Dell. Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and sweeeeeeeeeet...

Don't forget that the Apple 27" has a 2560 x 1440 resolution. if you can find a monitor with this resolution which is substantially cheaper, please let me know!

I'm a huge fan of the 27" and 28" models out there with 1920x1200 resolution. I'm running a Hanns-G HG281D. Have heard good things about the Samsung model too.
