Remote SL problems Live 8

Ever since I upgraded I'm getting the Ableton is OFFLINE message with my Remote SL. I've checked my MIDI preferences, deleted and then reinstalled the icon in Audio MIDI Setup, but still nothing. Anyone else have this problem? Any advice on what to do to get it to work?

EDIT: nevermind.. i feel so stoopid.. lol... i was just about to lose it (for real) lol

solution: usb cable was not plugged in all the way... power was on, but not communication cuz it wasnt plugged in all the way.. lol

Is there a solution for this problem now? Same problem here with the 25SL MKII.
"Ableton is OFFLINE". And the LED-Rings dont work in Ableton right now.
I did the MIDI-Setup like described in the guide from Novation. It seems to me that the controller is in the currently state not stable.

Or is there a solution?

in midin 2 remote on out midiout2 remote on

in "control surface" i choose my remote sl

in my "input" "output" I don't get this remote sl zero option...

i get these 4 choices:

none
automap midi
automap propellerhead
automap logic mixer

just went from osx 10.4.1 to snow 10.6 tried with automap 3.4 and 3.4 and remote sl 25 shows ableton is offline and don't send midi in live 8.2.1
