Nomad Factory group buy for what appears to be their entire collection of plugins including the new Magnetic reel-to-reel plug-in.
http://store.dontcrack.com/group-buy/
Looks like only 47 people left to hit 70% off.

Laptops @ $100 off, 10% basically, better than a kick in the eye, but nothing too great.squelcht wrote:Seriously.shadx312 wrote:psh. Newegg.com has 4GB of G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 ram for $49 and free shipping. I have this ram in my pc, works good, have it clocked to 1600mhz.

Re: Any good black Friday deals?
i bought that today,amazing plugin!shadx312 wrote:NomadFactory released a "Reel to Reel Tape Warmer" that's $49 til Dec 12th, then it's $199![]()
Gonna demo later.
it was the missing link in my mastering chain, adds just the right amount of warmth and life to my masters when used subtly.
for $49,it's really a NO_BRAINER!!!!!
Re: Any good black Friday deals?
how much of a difference does it make on drums, is it much better than the protools reel to reel simulator? What's the CPU overhead like ?33tetragammon wrote:i bought that today, amazing plugin!shadx312 wrote:NomadFactory released a "Reel to Reel Tape Warmer" that's $49 til Dec 12th, then it's $199![]()

There's a demo, so the best answer you'll get is to put the bong down and find out for yourself!

I'm sorry I've just been too busy to check and read up on things because of the holidays, 2 jobs , getting ready to start school and a horrible music habit to actually read the webpage on my iPhone to find out there was a demo. Time to put the fleshlight away and begin doing some demo drum tracks. Thanks for the heads up. I also have this bad stereotype that most demo software is too stripped down

I feel ya man, just got done with a small break and have to go back to grind again. I had the same stereotype with the demo, too, feeling like it'd be too much of a hassle, but it isn't.
I only tested the mastering presets on a couple sketches, and wasn't impressed, but it was in a rush and would be better to demo on more different tracks.
There's a good number of presets for specific instruments as well as for the master chain.
