Sorry, I just posted this in Music and Audio Production but that is the wrong category for this. I need some support, please.
Anyone having this problem? I have been working on a project for about a week now and it is getting bigger. Now, since I added my last software instrument, I am getting latency after lengthy playback. I start up Live and my MIDI is working perfectly. But after I playback or record a fairly lengthy passage of MIDI data, there is suddenly latency on my controller and I have to restart Live in order to get it back to normal. Very annoying. I am only using about 18% of my computer's processing power. I am running 3 instances of omnisphere, one of Reaktor, and 7 Battery instances. I really don't want to be told to use less plugins. Hopefully there is a workaround for this. Thanks.

Re: MIDI Latency after playback
Have you tried freezing any of your tracks?
Re: MIDI Latency after playback
Yes i have seen the same. i have live 8.2.1
the same thing happened... i was using just three vsti's plus a virus ti mk1 under VC control, launchpad and zero sl mk1.
very odd. i thought it might have been the TI playing up. but it seems from this comment it is not confined to the TI.
i noticed the 'playing' latency went appreciatively up. my latency on a emu 0202 usb 2.0 card is very low so normally i dont notice it that much if at all. but playing latency was very noticable. probably plus 30 ms. but i also saved the work and restarted live and all went back to normal.

If only computers switched on and behaved themselves.
