lol - so I might be nearer to your mom's view on a launchpad than to yours.
back serious (as good as this is possible here anyway
). I would be interested to know how you use it actually when playing the drums. R U using it with short samples/triggers or do you run some "playback tracks" for drumming to?

Ive customized it quite a bit, but its mostly set up for triggering loops and visual feedback.smaucher wrote:lol - so I might be nearer to your mom's view on a launchpad than to yours.

Got a lot of stuff going on, so I constantly need to see which state certain parameters are in. Easy to get lost..

custom made monitors by a friend. they are super really awesome. I get a really good frequency range and the sound is pretty flat and accurate !

Goodbye Machinedrum, Hello MPC1000 (thanks, beats me!)

Re: Post your set up and your sexy cat...
wait .....didn't you just get rid an MPC for a machine drum? What didn't you like about it? I heard the 1000 was the worst out of all MPC's.....

The only thing that I didn't like about my mpc 1000 was the crappy pads and with the pad upgrade and those corks, things should be better.aizo wrote:wait .....didn't you just get rid an MPC for a machine drum? What didn't you like about it? I heard the 1000 was the worst out of all MPC's.....
As for speed of workflow the 1000 workflow is still faster than the way I work on the 2000xl by itself. I've learned to chop like a lumberjack on meth with it though.Having access to more than four drum programs and that big ass screen are something that I missed.
As for the worst MPC ever....thats the 500, bad battery life, horrible durability, crappy pads.
I'm still shocked that Aqua tossed the machinedrum for a 1000.
