Hi ya'll, so I'm having a rather annoying problem that I'm sure must be an easy fix. First off, I'm running Live Intro 8 on a Toshiba quad core running windows 7. I haven't really had any other problems with live.
So I have a audio rendering of a simple 4/4 kick drum on one channel. I have a bass part I recorded on another audio track. I just started experimenting with ducking, so I have the compressor using the BD as input for triggering the bass. It seems like the meters are responding OK, but the bass audio track is greyed out. Now if I solo the bass track I can hear it without the side chain compression being applied.
I even deleted the compressor and it is still like that. Anyone know what's going on. Thanks.

Do you have the bass track muted? Another issue might be an Arrangement/Session view conflict - are you trying to play something in Arrangement or Session view?

I must have hit the mute button. Thanks!
