iTunes now has 90 second previews of (some) songs. Still useless for DJ friendly tracks because at 90 seconds in you're still only on bass drum, snare, hat. 
(for maximum quip impact we'll pretend the previews start at the beginning of the track. )
Personally I think they should time stretch the entire track into 90 seconds regardless of track length. I LOVE THE CHIPMUNKS!

The new Monopoly for iPad is top notch.
The animated 3D graphics are cute and clever. Beyond the obvious rolling of the dice, the pieces move across the board based on what they are - the ship sails across, the shoe hops across, the dog runs across.
If you're playing with multiple people huddled around the iPad the focus of the board and graphics rotates to each side of the iPad when it gets to that person's turn, no need to physically rotate it around.
There's a teacher mode where you play against the computer and it gives you playing rules and statistics as situations happen. There are many different rules and styles to playing Monopoly that people either aren't aware of or choose not to use. This mode goes over all of them. When you're playing in normal mode you can decide which of these rules and styles you want to use and which you don't.
This is going to make my extended family Christmas get-togethers go by a lot faster.
