I slapped a screen protector on the iPad this weekend, not because I feel it needs one, but the particular one I got claims to magically get rid of the bright light glare so you can still see it fine in sunlight. The sun hasn't been out since I put it on so I have no report on that yet.
But damn air bubbles! I managed to get it so there's no bubbles on the screen itself but there's some on the border and for all their claims that you can just rub them out I'm going to say LIES! I could try to redo it but once the thing is on it really feels like you can't take it off without destroying it because my short effort to try to do this failed to peel it off the glass at all, it's that snug. I'd really have to put in some serious surgical effort.
Also the touch sensitivity is still there but it's not as buttered smooth as the bare glass. There's some slight friction in the feel.
