Re: what the hell happened to Adonis?
I appreciate the 2009 love
Yes I'm married and have a kid. I've been in school the last 4 years. 2 years at the community college and 2 years at the UW. Now, I'm in graduate school. I'm in my first year at the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington. I'm getting my Masters of Public Administration with a concentration in Metropolitan and Regional Policy.
I guess I fell off the boards because I got preoccupied with all that. I still fool around with Ableton. I have the suite, the bride, etc.
I was making music with a friend last summer and we were talking about music, making it as musicians, etc...I guess for me, now, making music / djing is a hobby. I guess its always been that way. But to be honest, I'm better at economics than I am at writing songs. I'm okay with that.
BTW - I'm into Family Guy and the Cleveland Show now. And yes, I can still take an everyday situation or conversation and apply it to a specific episode of a cartoon. Now, instead of South Park, it's Family Guy. I'm getting there with the Cleveland Show
I'll be around - holla!

What? You guys didn't upgrade what you got to the Ableton Bride?
alex.the.forge - no, I'm not planning on running for any type of political office. However, I am interested in working as a policy analyst, policy advisor, or legislative researcher. A lot of people who graduate from my program go on to work as policy analysts and researchers. The Government Accountability Office recruits pretty heavily out of MPA and MPP programs. I'd really be interested in working for them. I also got into a urban planning program at University of Minnesota. I'd go into planning as well.
Angstrom, did you make a track called Rue De La Future? I got that! It's a super jam. I'm into it!
Tone - what's cracking playa! I was in the bay area in September to see the Chemical Brothers at the Fox Theatre. I also have a friend whose into hanggliding. We spent the day out by Fort Funston. I'd be interested in moving to SF after I graduate.
A couple of days ago, I unplugged the Serato box and started mixing vinyl again. Nothing like vinyl.

Re: what the hell happened to Adonis?
nah, that wasn't me .. there are just too many Angstrom's around now. I try to use "Steve Angstrom" as much as possible to differentiate myself , otherwise I fall foul of the industry problem known as "Pitch Black Syndrome"djadonis206 wrote: Angstrom, did you make a track called Rue De La Future? Ft Funston is pretty amazing, I ride my bike down there on one of my city loops. some recent shots.

look south city for more family friendly places, cheaper too. it's one thing to be DINKYs living here, it's another to do it with a kid.
