Setting up IAC BUS

Hi, Max Runtime/monomulator/MIDI routing n00b here trying to set up monomulator on my APC40 with 8.2.1 and OSX. I set up 2 IAC Busses in AudioMidi preferences by clicking the add port button. But, when I open live's prefs or monomulator I don't see the IAC's showing up. Restarted both apps several times, system too. I looked through all the old monomulator threads but couldn't seem to find anybody with the same problem. Any suggestions? Could I be setting them up wrong? Wouldn't surprise me.... :oops:

on my IAC bus i have a checkbox for "device is online" do you see that and is it checked?
