Loading new tracks/songs with the APC40

Is there a way to assign control(s) on the APC40 to load news songs/tracks into Ableton. It's frusatrating to have to use the PC keyboard/mouse each time via the "file" menu....

Not in apc40's normal programming, you'd have to use scripts that make use of the qwerty controls. I don't know of any free ones out there, but nativeKontrol.com makes one that has 13 modes, 1 of them being a navigation mode which gives you access to every command in the Live drop menu's as well as the keyboard controls... shift, ctrl, alt, up/down/left/right arrows, enter, copy, paste, delete, undo... etc. It is a 95% mouse-free script. The other modes being stuff like step sequencers, midi drum pads, midi keyboard, sample chopper, external (hardware) midi control, level meters... A whole bunch of stuff.
