Default Velocity...
Default Velocity...
all of a sudden when i enter notes by double clicking inside the midi note editor my notes are coming in at a really low velocity.
i'm not sure how to control this, any idea what i've done to change this?
thanks

Re: Default Velocity...
You drew in a note with a lower velocity. If you create a note by double-clicking, you also control the velocity until you release that second click. All next notes will be at that velocity.maxgraham wrote:all of a sudden when i enter notes by double clicking inside the midi note editor my notes are coming in at a really low velocity.

Re: Default Velocity...
you can also jump down/up in steps of 20 (ie 1, 20, 40,...) using the "c" & "v" keys. Or by holding "alt" when clicking on an existing note and moving the mouse up/down you also change the velocity of the next notes you draw.
Re: Default Velocity...
also alt-drag over a note..
Re: Default Velocity...
Thanks from the distant future. I had the same problem and never would have found this hidden functionality.
