playing sounds from live devices menu

hi. i have a noob question.

i just want to be able to play a sound from the live devices. ive seen people do it all the time but i cant seem to work out whick key i press. the only way i know how to hear what the sound will be like is to drag it into a midi track and play it from there and its a hassle.

You need to turn on the preview button - it's next to the waveform preview at the bottom of the browser, and it looks like a pair of headphones.
