If I have the midi-grid set to, say, 1/16 notes and I want to draw in an 8th note - is there a shortcut way of doing this without changing the grid to 1/8? I know I can deactivate the grid (ALT?) but then the note won't snap to a complete 8th note. So, is there a way to draw a single note that is a multiple of the current grid setting (1/8, 3/16, etc in this example).
Thanks,
EG
Q on drawing notes into the midi grid
Re: Q on drawing notes into the midi grid
If you double-click and hold the mouse down on the second click, then drag right, you can extend the newly created note to whatever gridline you want. That's about the closest thing I can think of to creating a multiple-grid-line note directly...

Cool tip - I would have never tried that. Thanks for the reply.
