Acoustic Guitar and laptopstuff

Does anybody know some artists playing acoustic guitar and using laptop (for beats etc..) maybe in combination with vocals ?

Something what squarepusher would do but with nylon guitar.
Also think of William fitzsimmons (in his album he combines guitar with minimal electronics)
Maybe Jose gonzales would do when he does a album like thom yorkes eraser.
you know what I mean ?

Although he uses a HW looper the only artist I can think of is Keller Williams.

Man, I just saw a thread last week around here in which an acoustic guitarist and singer have incorporated Ableton into their live gigs. I did a quick search, but couldn't find it. They were a cover band, but pretty good stuff. No beats that I can remember, but the guitarist would lay down some rhythm and then solo over that or play other parts.

Maybe in the guitarists thread now at the Main section?

but there aren't so much guitarist that use laptop (ableton) as "bandmember" (for beats etc.)

so I think ther's a big lack... I am guitarist and trying to do such thing, but cant find other inspirational artists in this genre

Not that I've seen.

Just do it, man! Seems pretty straightforward. Put on a beat and play to it.

I do pretty much all live looping, and will lay down beats at some point from scratch - oftentimes using different tracks and scenes and then changing those via my FCB1010 or touchAble on the iPad or whatever. Is that what you are wanting to do?

Now that I think about it, check out bosunHavoc. He's on the forum, plays live acoustic bass while his wife sings. I'm pretty sure he uses rhythm tracks on Live to back them up.

This is pretty much all I do. I mostly play a nylon string through audio effect racks while I have a beat going on. Some times I record the beat with my vdrums and add simple phrases via my Axiom keyboard, other times i just drag what ever whatever clips suit my mood into session and trigger them via my simple DIY foot switch. I can happily jam like this and loose track of time.

No I don't, not with this kit. But, as I am on my summer holidays and needing relief/distraction from my kitchen reno, I'll make something to post. I'll need a few days though.

I didn't use Ableton to make any beats per se (drum samples and the like), but I did start banging out a beat on the top of my guitar.
