send and receive from different plugs on different tracks

hey ...this is a newbee quest but ..

i have made some patches with send and receive objects and the thing is if a have them on two different MIDI tracks they communicate with no problem ...but i have a situation where one send is on an audiotrack in an audio effect and this is not working ..only if i open the patch from the MIDItrack to get the send from the audiotrack effect in max4live (max window) i get a response ..should it work this way ?? or is there a better object to exchange data between devices on different tracks and different kind ...thx ...

You can not send audio in Max for Live via send~, only data via send.

i know ...i just got a patch with audio to midi recognition and i want send the midi to other tracks/patches so i can put VST on it or else ..
