adjustable laptop stands - bloody hell!

Post by nowtime » Sun Jan 09, 2011 1:02 am

Having a hell of a time finding a stand that will give me angle adjustment and height adjustment. Bought an Odyssey stand, what a piece of junk, sent it right back. And it wouldn't go low enough in height. Crane looks interesting, but not too sure. This shouldn't be so hard.

Just found this interesting creature on Ebay, but maybe the lip is too high. And it's fuggly.

I have two crane stands. They're tanks man. They're built to last, fit in my mono flyby backpack and off to the gig we go. Great stand, but hella fuggin expensive for a hunk of welded metal.

I notice, for the Crane, that you can't put equipment under it in the Z position.

edit: just watched a video. No height adjustment. To get that thing low, you need alot of depth, looks like maybe 18"-24". That takes up alot of space. Shucks, cool stand otherwise.
