does anyone have any good tips in ableton to get the most volume out of a mic?
i'm playing guitar on a mic and the guitar is a bit low.. is there anything to heighten this without distorting it too much?
please let me know.
also i want to know if there is a way to bring the levels on the guitar up... and still being able to clip the master before it goes red.
thank you guys!

Re: most volume out of a mic?
Regarding bringing up the volume of the guitar through the mic, try increasing the volume of the mic preamp.
For preventing clipping, try the Limiter - it's there to specifically prevent any signal from passing its threshold.
