Is this possible? I'm either having reading comprehension problems, or it's not in the manual. Thanks, and happy week to you all!
Best wishes,

Play clip in session view without triggering arrangement?
Re: Play clip in session view without triggering arrangement?
I don't think it is possible to run a session without triggering arrangement. I sometimes want to do that so I have been starting the session with the cursor placed after the last clip in the arrangement so that when I start the session I just get silence from arrangement. I guess you could put a loop of silence in there if you don't want the arrangement to get up to some huge number of bars.

Hit stop all clips in session view, that should make session view override arrangement view. If you need Arrangement view to be back, just hit the red "Back to Arrangement View" button up top.

Yes, and to be exact it's called "stop all clips". Hit that once, then the arrangement is muted while you play your stuff from session view.yur2die4 wrote:Hit stop on all channels while it is playing, that should make session view override arrangement view.
