newbie session and arrangement view

Post by hp1 » Wed Jan 12, 2011 11:17 am

why doesn't my session view look like the training videos? I can switch from one to the other but there are no sliders for adjusting the tracks. I am very new to this and trying to record different tracks from a keyboard. Wanting to record soprano, alto, tenor, bass lines for choir at different volume for each. I wish the instructions were simple, it's all a different language to me :(

it is possible to hide the mixer part of the session screen. check out the little button at bottom left "M"

then once it's visible try dragging the dividing line between the mixer section and the clip slots. there are many variations in terms of what's visible in there.. the higher you go, the more "full feature" it gets
