Live wont cut copy or paste sometimes

Anybody have an issue where sometimes your session won't allow you to cut copy or paste? It's wierd. It will allow me to cut and paste time and duplicate but that's all. I have to re-start live to get it to work.
any ideas?

Could you provide more information about this issue? Does it happen with any particular set? And does the option not appear, or does it appear but not work?

It doesn't happen to any particular set. It occurs randomly. The cut and paste options are greyed out in the menu...

If this happens again, try holding down ctrl/command and drag the clip/notes to the new location. Worth a shot, just another way of copying & pasting.

This happens to me too. Tends to only occur when I'm using NI plugins (ie, Reaktor) -- some command+ keys work, like command+a for 'select all', but copy and paste do not. Sounds like this is a fairly pervasive problem. Is there a diagnosis / fix available?

but i restarted Live i think and it was ok
