I want the beat to come out of a track (or tracks in ableton).
I want the sound, after running through scratch live, to be recorded in a channel in ableton.
I have a TTM57, MacBookPro, MackieOnyxBlackjack, Ableton, and ScratchLive. USB from mixer to laptop, and USB Mackie to laptop. TTM57 Booth out to line in on Mackie, line out of mackie to speakers.
I can record regular audio if I have my "core audio" selected in my ableton prefs.
I cant seem to figure out how I make ableton see whats coming out of scratch live.
Thanks,

Try using Soundflower for this - it's a free application from Cycling 74: http://cycling74.com/products/soundflower/
You'll want to set the Serato Scratch Live output to Soundflower, and the Live input to Soundflower - you should then be able to record audio in from SSL to Live.
