Minimum Follow Length time
So, the minimum Follow Length time seems to be 1 bar. Is there any way to go lower than this? In other words, what if I wanted my clips to change after just a couple beats?
you can go down to 1/16 if you want. The behaviour of that input fields for follow actions is a bit odd at first, but once you get it, its easy. You want to have a follow action only 2 4th long, simply click into to the middle box under "follow action" and move your mouse downwards. For finer grain use the 16th (the right most textfield) - Live counts through the bigger steps (4th and bars) automatically.
I by the way think, a zero length Follow action should be possible too.

aah, that's it!
what a weird way to do it, but o.k. thanks for the tip!
Yeah chumpchange, I've been trying to do the very same thing. When you type a value less than 1 bar into the follow length box it just jumps back to 1 0 0. Hey wiffbi I just tried what you suggested and I'm now happy! That is so wierd - all other measure related boxes respond to typing in values - how come this one doesn't? Plus having read the section on follow actions in the manual three times I can confirm it doesn't appear there... Maybe that's something to fix for Version 5...
I expect I'll be doing overkill on follow actions for a while now...
Thanks folks,
Mark

I really hope this will be sorted out in some update - why should there be a difference between dragging a value and typing it..?
