Sorry, new to this forum, and sure this has been mentioned before, but got a request for a feature which i personally feel is very important for future versions of live.
I would like to see the ability to group channels together onto one bus
i.e. take all your rhythm tracks and send them to one stereo bus, where you can apply overall effects to this bus. I miss this feature from logic (i am starting to use live more and more due to ceased support of logic on the pc platform), as i like to take all my rhythm parts exept the kick, then compress the rhythm and sidechain it to the kick to create a slight pumping effect
would be good for people in live situations also i am sure because they could make changes to one track for their rhythm rather than change maybe 10-20 tracks for the same effect
Thank you!
Feature Request - Grouping tracks
you can do this already.
Its in the manual, probably under 'routing', basically though here's how it's done -
make a new audio track, set its monitor to 'on', name it drums (or whatever)
set the 'audio out' of all your drum tracks to the new 'drums' track, instead of 'master' , which is probably where they are pointing now.
thats pretty brief, but like I said, more info in the manual
