Live Vocal Filters, Plugins & General Resources

Hello,

I am just starting with performing with a vocalist and was looking into what filters/plugins I should use for a live situation?

I would also like to make the voice of the singer change on the fly - for example at one song make it sound like the female voice from the song "like a g6" and then change it to something else - any ideas on the best way of doing this?

I am also recording this artist for a demo at home - will I be using different filters compared to the live situation?

Generally any resources on this topic would be useful as i am quite newby when it comes to vocals.
