I'm trying to get my NI maschine (as vst) patterns into a midi track.
I have created a midi track and set everything 'midi in & out' on maschine etc, record armes and whatever. also adjusted my maschine to sounds to midi notes.
In the 'midi from' section i can select my maschine. on the second selector of 'midi in' there appears "Post FX or Pre FX". Normally i should also be able to select the maschine there as well (which i know from tutorials setup). It doesn't appear...
I supposed to know ableton inside out but just can't find it.
also when i was playing on my friends maschine i was able to drag clips from maschine into an ableton midi track, which doesn't seem to work either.
Any ideas anyone ??
