Unfortunately you can't with Live alone. But on a Mac, you can create an "Aggregate Device" out of whichever inputs and outputs that are available to the system.VC wrote:I don't think you can use multiple audio interfaces with live.
Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, I'm on a Firewire-less MacBook and, truthfully, it's way out of my price range, not to mention seeming like overkill (for me) for what I want it for. Thanks for your input though (no pun intended).djphenaproxima wrote:If you're on a Mac, I personally LOVE the Apogee Duet. It's simple, pretty limited in functionality (no MIDI or anything like that), but boy does it sound pristine. Worth the price.
No, I think they assume that you will buy a 17" Pro if you want that slot and standard MacBooks don't even have Firewire any more, so they assume you will buy a Pro if you want/need that.vjfranzk wrote:You're right, I just noticed there isn't one on my new Macbook?
I guess they now assume we will use USB 2 or FireWire
Never did actually find a use for the card slot on my PowerBook. oh well
I think trial and error of the few small, USB devices available is to be my course of action for this.
