I've got some sound toys stuff like the crystalizer, Echoboy etc- when I use them on a channel that's say 16 bars long, if I want to copy and paste those 16 bars, if it's something like a drum pattern etc the copied bars will have loads of automation on that I don't want, like things will be turned off or back to the preset effect if I've made any changes.
Obviously I don't want this, does anyone know a solution to this problem because they've have a similar thing happened to them. I've made sure all the record arm buttons are off when I'm changing paramaters and when I'm copying and pasting so I have no idea why it's happening. And it doesn't happen on any of my other VSTs- like any of the SSL stuff. I'm dragging it in from the 'audio unit's' folder instead of the 'vst' folder under the plug-in devices browser. Does that make a difference?
Live is adding automation on VSTs that I don't want
