iTunes Music Doesn't Appear in Folder

Post by Harshaw » Wed Feb 09, 2011 3:22 am

THis might be a repost but I'm looking to DJ with my Live software (Live Lite 7 Akia Edition) and when I open the folder all the music I have in my itunes (iTunes 10) doesn't show up. I feel like its just me but I have no idea how to fix it and I cant find out how to solve it with the programs help. I watched the demo and everything but no good. Help please? I'm new to all this

Are you sure you're in the right iTunes folder?
Also, is the music in your iTunes in the right format? Live doesn't read .aac, which is iTunes' default format.

MPEG-1. :/

I can post pix on how I get to the folder and all that. Watched the demo on "How to DJ on Live" and none of my songs appear when I open the folder. I used to to think it was because my External wasn't attached but my music still plays on my itunes without it so they weren't even depending on it.

Any ideas? I Really appreciate the help, I would love to start do live mixing on my radio show.

Live lite doesn't support mp3 or other compressed audio formats. You'll either have to convert everything to .wav/.aiff or upgrade to the full version of live.

That's the type of thing I was looking for. I'm upgrading to 8 now, then prob buying the full version in that case. Hopefully thats a quick and perfect fix.
