The manual's fine for me as well!
I recently got a Vestax VCM 600 controller. I'm thinking of taking Live more seriously when it comes to performing and mixing live. From some one who is using this ClyphX stuff, will this really help me out?

I'm trying to work out a way of using my Vestax controller to the full, without any external programs, MIDI bridging stuff, and all that extra guff. That's why ClyphX looks appealing to me...

Try it.

For me it has been an "as needed" addition, but VERY useful.

Is there a script to make it play all tracks at scene 1 again?

I'm pretty sure you can have any clip anywhere in your set launch any scene in the set.. If thats even what your question is.

I haven't really got the point what Macrobat (which is included in
V2.0) is useful for. Can somebody explain what he uses it for ?

I use it to get send functionality out of macro knobs. Very useful if you own something like an APC40 and you want to bluehand sends with your APC40s device control knobs.

on useful feature of macrobat is to reset a device or effect rack to it's default.

Ah, I'm slowly getting it, ideas on what to use
it on are coming, thanks ! Is "resetting" a reset
of the device to the state when the live set is loaded
or what is meant by "default" ?

Not sure where to toss out feature requests but here goes:

Since ClyphX and my APC40 scripts are both made by nativekontrol would it be possible to have a clyphx clip set the note and key that my CL3 scale and chord modes are in? I'm guessing this is a long shot.

And then also, would there be any way to put together a scale or chord plugin that you can use with a MIDI keyboard? - so 2 octaves of white keys only would be the 16 pads, or for the scale plugin, you would just use 7 white keys, etc..

Again, if this isn't where these requests go I apologize, just figured you'd see it here.

This is a very cool script.

But honestly some sort of snapshot feature of any and all settings, and the flexibility to include/exclude, would be great right within Live as a feature.

Did somebody say there's a patch for M4L that can already do this?
I came for the
But stayed for the :x

well, with clyphX it is right within Live as a feature, so surely it doesn't make any difference who put it there?
Simply titling any clip with a snapall will snapshot all.

Just wanted to give my endorsement to the brilliant ClyphX. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

The way it opens up the inner workings of Live is inspired.

Ableton must be kicking themselves for not thinking of this idea themselves - or else we should be kicking them for having the idea but not implementing it :)

Actually they had an outside guy come in and kick them with their own foot.

From what I gather, ClyphX does NOT have the ability to capture the settings of more than 1 track/track devices at a time. Hence my request for a native version.
