master "clip pause" in session view

i'm stealing this idea from "tips and tricks"==it would be awesome to have a master pause button for clips in the session view. For breakdowns and pauses with cool delay and effects tails, it would be great to pause all session tracks, then have them resume right where you stopped. I guess it can kindof be done with some creative crossfading, but not as dynamic as the master clip pause in sessiov view would be

After you hit spacebar to stop playback, press Shift+Spacebar to resume playback where it stopped.

May I ask how to MIDI-map this function (resume playback) without having to use Bome's Translator to mimic Shift+Spacebar keypress or something like that? Thanks you!

It's not possible as far as I know.
