hey guys,i've just bought an imac for using ableton,moving up from my PC!! ableton would open no problem on my PC but im having trouble opening ableton {and all other music production software} on my mac..i keep ketting "this software cannot be opened in DOS mode" and under it loads of letters and number all muddled up??? Would really appreciate some help from someone please, i cant wait 2 get writing

Well, do you know that software is written specifically for each operating system?

You cannot install the same version that you installed on PC. For Ableton it should be easy just download the MAC installer. Most software offers both options. Some (like Adobe) does not.

Um, sounds like you're trying to install the PC versions on a Mac.
