Not to oppose any of the good ideas already mentioned (and perhaps this one has too and I haven't seen it) but I would like NI to put in an "Arrangement view" that only records live playing/arranging, including everything you do with the pads, buttons and knobs and would then play back everything you played and you would be able to tweak your performance if you wanted to.
I stressed the "only" because I think that is all it should be made to do, no audio recording or traditional tracking capabilities, just a live song recorder.

I'm late, this is my first time seeing this.
That is insane.

The new beta has some issues which the old one didn't apparently
And the old one is time bombed so you can can't keep using it

This is what I'd like to see as well and I've suggested it on the maschine forum. A song mode which basically just captures automation (either live tweaking or already recorded in clips) and pattern changes. There's just no other good way of using all it has to offer as a plug-in in Live and be able to record arrangements.Mister36 wrote:Not to oppose any of the good ideas already mentioned (and perhaps this one has too and I haven't seen it) but I would like NI to put in an "Arrangement view" that only records live playing/arranging, including everything you do with the pads, buttons and knobs and would then play back everything you played and you would be able to tweak your performance if you wanted to.

I read the post about that new issue when using Maschine as a plugin in Logic. Anyway, that's why it's a beta. Ever since 1.6, I'm using Maschine in standalone mode only and loving it.timothyallan wrote:The new beta has some issues which the old one didn't apparentlyAnd the old one is time bombed so you can can't keep using it

That's awesome.

That sounds very useful in general even if you use it in standalone mode. Lots of people have requested some kind of arrangement option like that so there's good chance NI will eventually implement something that makes sense.glitchrock-buddha wrote:This is what I'd like to see as well and I've suggested it on the maschine forum.
