automated track volume levels won't save.

Post by sjkuessel » Sat Feb 26, 2011 2:48 am

Here is my problem. I recorded two different guitar leads in one clip but in different parts of the song. One lead sounds lounder than the other. No problem I thought. Just automate the track volume envelope. This worked fine until I went back and tried lowering the master volume of the entire track. It dissables the track volume automation option once I do that. Anyways I get the levels all the way I want for the entire track. I save it. When I open it back up the master track volume isn't where I just adjusted it to. I'm stumped. If this makes since to anyone can you help?

click the red "back to arrangement" button near the transport controls at the top.

if the automation envelope isn't red when you're adjusting it, then clicking on the red button will make it red. it will save this way, but not otherwise.
