recently switched from using key map for xfade assign to midi map.
question, and i've never noticed this before, but using a midi controller sending pad/button CC in toggle mode (or gate mode) won't ever actually turn the xfade assign OFF, only A or B. it does this fine in key map mode by switching through A/B/OFF, is there a trick or an obvious thing i'm not doing to be able to midi map control xfade assignment off?
xfade assign key map vs midi map = no off assign?
Re: xfade assign key map vs midi map = no off assign?
also, anyone know of a way to turn a xfade assignment straight OFF without having to toggle through A->B?
that's a total deal breaker when you want to leave something previously assigned 'A' that was going through the xfade and you play a new track/clip on the same channel (that you want to play unaffected by the xfade) while you have the xfade flipped to the 'B' side. you basically lose your audio for a sec while it pages through B before going to OFF.
