I’m thoroughly dumbfounded that almost absolutely nobody out in internet land is hoping the iPad 2 has a bigger HD.

This would seem to mirror Apple’s removal of the HD on the Apple TV by popular demand.

Seriously, when did onboard storage become undesirable and why?

Enormous print time devoted to how cool the cameras will be. Virtually no print time devoted to:

1. HD size
2. RAM
3. Processor speed



A friend asked just yesterday whether or not he should get the iPad2 or wait for the iPad3. I said wait, of course. There's already talk of all 3 items listed above as essentially doubling; not to mention a retina display that will blow away anything prior.

All in just 6 months or so after the iPad2 release.

At the very least, the iPad3 will have a more robust battery and retina and faster processor.

But I will be if they announce they are going to be on sale immediately potentially fucking up my Apple store date experience this Sunday.
