now that im a bit more into the set

20ish minutes or so..

how much of the set is prepared beforehand?
I assume you'd have all of the drums/bass/main melodic parts down as clips in ableton, and then extra parts such as the synth solos you would have added live?

i overdub a lot... and there's quite alot of preparation.
for every clip, i'm going to record & loop during a set, there's a spare clip,
just in case i mess up the recording.
i work with percussion loops, wich i overdub with triggered drumrack-drums
i use an electric bass guitar, a fender rhodes, a korg r3 synth, vibrphone etc..
