Serious program error with CronoX3
Serious program error with CronoX3
Rendering a set with a CronoX3 track yesterday resulted in a 'serious program error' that I couldn't escape from without rebooting. I got the same error when I tried reloading the set. If I moved the cronox3.dll out of the vstplugins folder the set loaded ok; moved back in, the same error on reloading the set. I've tried 4.1.2, 4.1.3 and 4.1.4. Can anyone else with CronoX3 confirm this problem?

i've just rendered a set with 4 active cronox3 (and 2 inactive) (plus RMiv) and it didn't crash.
I did get it to crash 4 seconds after i first loaded it, by using Live to load in a new sound rather than the build-in preset browser. This hasn't happened since.
I am using 4.0.1 if that makes a difference.
do you find that loading a preset while a song is running gives you nasty clitches and hangs in the audio?

i've just crashed it, while i hit send for that last post... (perhaps that'll teach me to surf and use Live and iTunes all at the same time?)
i had to go into task manager to kill the process, cause that 'serious error save work under different name' thing wouldn't go away...
how much of this is down to Cronox3, i don't know yet

Well that's interesting. The serious error message I got wouldn't go away either. I've e-mailed Peter @ LinPlug so let's hope this gets sorted.spookydirt wrote:i've just crashed it, while i hit send for that last post...
