how to assign sampler start point to a midi controller
how to assign sampler start point to a midi controller
how to assign sampler start point to a midi controller : I have attempted in the past to assign start point of sampler to a a knob on my original oxygen 8 midi controller. I am using 8.0.5 currently. I don't have the same problem for simpler. I would aprreciate any thoughts.. Oh, also I have a problem with opening a window and I always receive this window saying that i cannot copy while recording. This happens when I typically resample something and double click on the file (mixer side) to check the waveform as it is recording. Thanks for any help.

Feature request. There are at least 2 topics about it.

assign to the mod wheel or some other controller number?
ctrl + left/right = select transient
ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients
ctrl + space = play selection
ctrl + shift + left/right = select between transients
ctrl + space = play selection

"some other controller number" should be cool

Re: how to assign sampler start point to a midi controller
ya it sucks, what i've been doing is going into the mod section, setting the modwheel to Loop Length and setting it to -Max amt. Then as you increase the mod wheel, the sample loop gets shorter. a bit annoying you can't map it, i agree

We are talking about the sampler instrument.romegio wrote:ctrl + left/right = select transient

Re: how to assign sampler start point to a midi controller
yeah that transient stuff is in my sig...nothing to do with this.
but i did automate the start point with the mod wheel parameter in sampler.

Ok. But let's say i don't want to use the mod wheel. Or it is already used. Or you want to use a knob with led feedback. Or you wanna create your own midi hardware instrument.dna598 wrote:yeah that transient stuff is in my sig...nothing to do with this.
