How do i "fetch" the loop?

Post by Sebastian » Fri Mar 04, 2011 4:51 am

In Arrangement view, what is the quickest way to "fetch" the loop function if its say, sitting somewhere in measure 2 while I am editing in measure 3000

All I know to do is having to zoom out, slide the screen sideways looking for it and then drag it to where I want it. I know I could enter the loop points but....would love if theres a stroke trick to make the loop show up near where Im editing.

ur thoughts?

thank you!

highlight the area you're in, right click and select "loop selected area" (or something similar...I'm not in front of Live right now!)...it'll move the loop brace to where you've highlighted. it's probably got the keyboard shortcut next to the option in the right click menu too, but I can't remember it off the top of my head...

You can also CTRL+Click in the bar where the loop marks show to set the left loop marker, and Ctrl+Shift+Click to set the right loop marker. I end up using this all the time!

Nice. I hate randomly forgetting and remembering shortcuts!
