Post by conker » Sun Jan 30, 2011 1:03 am

Anyone know a good place to find or the best way to go about getting some stems or accepellas from popular songs on the radio? Is this even possible? there is a certian song i would love to try and remix but i cant seperate the vocals from the instruments.

www.acapellas4u.co.uk is a good site for acapellas. Its free but I think you are limited to 1 per day, as for stems you should just try googling it and maybe they are having a remix comp for it so you can download the stems from somewhere

I think that site actually has a monthly limit... Roughly 20dl/month. I think you can upload for more downloads than that but I've never tried it. Lots of good stuff there though...

I've gotten good ones there, you just need to avoid the DIY ones. They sound like you describe, basically filtered crap. There are plenty of good ones there that are proper (studio) acapella versions of the song.
