transfering tracks to a new project? help please! :-)

Is it possible to transfer songs from different projects? For example, I'm working on a project right now, and I have been having so called "writers block", but then I realized that I have another unfinished project that would flow with this one perfectly. So, I want to transfer parts of that song into the one i am working on now. I am pretty sure there is a way to do this, sometimes it seems like the easiest things are so hard for me. lol. can anyone help me with this?

navigate to your project in the file browser, click the arrow beside it to expand a track by track view of your project and drag what you like over to your arrangement, or just drag the whole track into the arrangement.
