Echo Audiofire 2 or Apogee One?
Echo Audiofire 2 or Apogee One?
Due to the postage costs there's only really 20euro in the difference. For that little I can't really decide between them. Anybody use both and have an opinion? I'm on a Mac and I want it for playing live.
Re: Echo Audiofire 2 or Apogee One?
I don't know about Apogee One, but Echo Audiofire 2 was a great card when I had one, although 2 outputs were not enough for me. Now I have Audiofire 4. I also like the idea of chaining cards, but I think other manufacturers also support that feature. But while I'm sticking to Audiofire I'm thinking of buying another one, just to expand number of output channels.

It's also very pretty. Mind you, they're both quite attractive looking. I'm slightly leaning toward the apogee as they do have a reputation for great sound but something is drawing me to the Echo. I wonder is it because it looks a little sturdier?cids wrote:Apogee has a real good reputation for sound quality...
