INTERGROOVE ANNOUNCE SHOWCASES

Rui da Silva, a name synonymous with quality dance music will be raising the
roof on the Intergroove stand. Since 2000 when Rui unleashed the number 1
hit single 'Touch Me' onto the dance scene, his name has shot to stellar
proportions as one of the world's best tribal/progressive DJs and producers.
And if you thought it couldn't get any better than that, techno/tech-house
god Billy Nasty and tech house maestro Jesse Rose will each be treating us
to a set of their own on the very same stand. Big it up for Intergroove!

ARE YOU HARDCORE ENOUGH?

As if the day time event isn't going to wear you out, for those of you who
just don't know when to stop, we've added even more night time activity!
London Calling ticket holders will gain discounted entry into all official
listed events.

NEWSFLASH NEWSFLASH NEWSFLASH NEWSFLASH NEWSFLASH

Today London Calling launched an official investigation into the leaked news
of the industry professionals confirmed to take part in the A&R Pit at the
event. Names include amongst others, Jason Ellis, Ben Cheryll (Positiva),
David Dollimore, Phil Sagar (Ministry Of Sound), Luke Allen (Hope
Recordings), Simon Burke-Kennedy (Distinctive) and Chris Sills (A7 Music).
An official spokesperson for London Calling said “I can confirm that the
named individuals will all be involved in the A&R Pit giving live and
immediate feedback on demos brought along by London Calling visitors on the
day. Thankfully not all names have been revealed. While we wanted to keep
this information under wraps until the event itself, we are ecstatic with
the line up and its yet another first for this unique event”.

MTV & Channel 4 & Madonna @ London Calling 2005

Post by JustinDunnel » Tue Jun 07, 2005 6:50 pm

I hear MTV & Channel 4 will be filming the event. Also Ive heard a whisper from a reliable source that Madonna, who lives in London and who's got a love for electronic music will be paying a visit to London Calling. How crazy is that! 8O

what a crap event .

i went to quite a lot of events like this ,i even help organised a few .but this one was really crap .

i went to this seminar on saturday morning ,then i had to leave cos it was crap ,i know it's the first year they do it so in a way i kind of understand the mess .
i tell you why i left , because it was some kind of ear toture place,
a sound system every 3 metres trying to play louder than everyone else .

the concept is good ,but honestly there is a lot to think about for next year .

not worth the 25 quids i paid to get in .

Agreed. You could hardly hear anyone talking in the main area and the seminar was pointless with the noise.
