... but i could not find it.
So i noticed that vast majority of people here use Macs, myself a PC user, i've been frustrated with Laptops. PC Laptops are a gamble, finding one that will be powerful enough and work for music production is not easy. My latest Notebook(Dell XPS M1710) was a waste of money, it is great for everything except making music(i do know how to tweak a pc for music).
So, for my next Laptop i am seriously considering a Mac. Any recommendations?
I am sure there must be this sort of thread already...

look for websites that sell customized / assembled laptops. there are some that make them for specifically for music production.
they aren't so hard to find nowadays

as a musican apple laptops have many advantages..you can go on an internet hotspot in bangkog with your stage machine.. without the need to buy a new harddrive afterwards..
you enjoy a midi timing that can be called timing and not random note output.. what is especially valuable when you have external drummachines and sequencers you want to run tight..
the inbuild audio is good enough to do a gig if you loose your external interface..
the new machines are light speed fast.. and laptops as mine which are totally allwright for music production when you dont need 100 plug ins go for around 300 euro theese days.. however difficult to find such an old model with just little use..but possible..
and the actual new prices well can compeete with pc laptops.. for a similar equiped and rugged pc laptop you wont pay really less... and all the lowend pc crap is exactly the stuff that gives you the trouble..
besides..if you are really into bad midi timing you can run a windows on tha apple laptops
