I just learned some folks use Live for video editing so I figured I'd give it a shot. Other than just splicing together clips in arrangement view, I'm wondering if there's anyway to apply automation to parameters of the video. Particularly, I'd like to automate the speed, duration, time mapping, etc. similar to what one can do with audio using Simpler. Any suggestions on how to do this (or people telling me it's simply impossible so I don't waste my time) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Zach

Hi Zach, you can do all of the above by placing Warp Markers at various points of the video clip (in the Clip View window, as you would do with audio files) and then moving the Warp Markers around. Great for varispeed/ramping effects. Then render out the video.hcaz wrote: I'd like to automate the speed, duration, time mapping,

Cool, thanks. I also just realized I can automate the BPM, which I think I prefer as you can see the warping in the interface (and also send automation from devices). By moving the warp markers, you have no visual record of where they were originally, right? There are probably some advantages to this method that I'm not seeing.
