Issue with Plugin Presets not saving with Ableton Set

I have an issue whereby Ableton sets, when loaded, no longer contain a saved preset with Native Instrument plugins. In other words, I could have a track housing BATTERY 3, for example, that after loading contains the instrument BATTERY, but not the saved drumkit. The same applies to other Native Instrument plugins: e.g. Kontakt 4, Kore player etc. I did try testing this on a new set with the same result.

The Native Instrument plugins that I use are KOMPLETE7 & KORE player.

I recently updated LIVE 8 Suite to 8.2.1 and I use it on an Intel IMAC 24" with Mac OS X version 10.6.6 (snow leopard). Worth mentioning also is that I recently ( a few weeks ago) upgraded this from Leopard.

I am using the AU version of the plugin, not the VST version.

Does anyone have an idea about how to resolve this issue?

Might be an Ableton vs NI wierdy - dont notice it in Cubase, but have had it happen in Live quite a few times, especially with Battery. This is on a PC with Win7.

Ask here, how to save sampler preset what I'm made like nki. for example, without samples just preset file is it real, or I need to copy all samples too?
