clip loop brace to be midi selectable

Post by maily » Mon Mar 14, 2011 6:20 pm

what i am aiming for is to be able to half/double the loop length without having to use the pointer to select the loop brace.

yes, use the command key on a mac, not sure on PC, and arrow up/down to half or double loop length and left/right to adjust by division.

However, you have to select clip and then select the loop bracket. I agree that some sort of midi assignment that would automatically adjust length on any selected clip would be a GREAT feature. Good call out.

yeah thanks, just to make the loop brace, for your selected clip, would make the looping much more useful in a live scenario

i'm having this problem too. the keyboard method works but isnt ideal when djing in live. i know i can map the loop length settings and adjust it that way but it is very awkward and uncontrollable to do it this way. is there not a vst that allows you can change the loop divisions and select between them (i.e 1 bar, 1/2 bar, 1/4 etc) without using the keyboard and mouse, because then you could simply use a midi controller and switch between the loop divisions more precisely?

this will do what you want.

The command: "1/CLIP LOOP SET 1" sets clip playing in track one to loop for one bar from the position the track is currently playing at

and "2/CLIP LOOP SET 8" sets clip currently playing in track 2 to loop for 8 bars from current position!!!!

try it =]
