do what ever makes you happy man there are enough free loops out there and quite honestly if your mr.loopy then get resourceful!!!!!but if you have abelton live and all its instrument and effects along with all the free vst and vsti's in the world at your finger tips why would you think use loops are easier ? they are harder to use because they're pretty much molded and molding your ear as you listen to them.....so you end up losing the original idea that was in your head !!!!!!!So like really how hard is it to program a couple notes on the midi piano roll ????I think you fuckin do work for Prime loops ........ya you do because anyone who would pay for loops instead of getting a couple quality vsti's like massive or operator if your not running 8 suite.???????? ya what is this a prime loops hidden survey? on our forum i just refuse to belive anyone who can even operate abelton live and record on it would want to spend thousands of dollars on other peoples loops why dont you take the money save it and watch some free tuts?

I know, I just don't think 3phase would ever understand why you would think that though...
This isn't a debate; it's a verbal war where anyone disagreeing is obviously one of them "heroes" who makes plastic music for plastic people.

EDIT: I can pretty much appreciate most forms of music mind you... From blues to classical, and and i use all genres as inspiration for my own work... not really prepared to be limited by the rules of genre or coolness etc...And basically since I studied art in my degree, can't really take anything 3phase is saying with any seriousness... It's all been said and disputed a thousand times before... But that's just me..

its the same with hacked softwaare..ther are rules against it..even laws...but nobody follows them..but that dont makes it less questionable..and how you use premade loop and to which amount the interfear with your production is also a comparable situation..
I wouldnt dam a producer for using a comercial loop once in a while but when the whole music is based on that i call him a fake..

And when his output only gets ideas and sounds from somewhere but never feeds back any own ideas or patches because the person is just a user and follower of other artists and sounddesigners work i call him a lamer..

? disputed by the people that depend on theier sound refills..defently not by roots rockin rasta bands...
And in all the dispute the lamers tryed to claim for the right to do collage work and beeing just users of the goodys modern electronic nature supplies to them.- unguilty and free..

however while electronic dancemusic never had a skill set that depends on your ability too play an instrument it most certainly had a skill set regarding originality and individual approach to what ever subgenre there might be..
And using premade loops or copy other artists records never was regarded highly and never will.

so when you dont play the instruments.. and your composition is based on ideas you got from premade hooks..and the rest of the production is just presets of plug ins , and of cause the endproduct just sounds as a cliche you have heard hundred times before..... you dont really do anything creativ anymore..you can let the robots do the job...

why you want to put your name on that and release it as your personal copy of actual dance trends?
because you want everybody to see that you can do it too? making some little bubbles around yourself?

in short ..the position that original art is superior to faked copys of that cant be disputed.
Its only the surrounding here on the forum of one of the main tool suppliers for the fakers that it might appear a miniority position..but out there in the real world of music production its not.

Even many people i ve met that work for the majors see it artistical this way..they are just not into the biz of selling art..
Especially on the higher floors of the majors the guys know damn well what they are selling and many have started with little labels..

so fakers..go for the real jackpot.. do something for the majors.. enter the charts..but leave all the real genres alone.. its forbidden to flood every subcultural genre with faked productions. do that with the demo baskets of the majors..win the jackpot..and keep your streets tidy
